Wayra Spain (Barcelona and Madrid) have announced their 2015 open call for startups

Wayra, Telefónica’s network of startup accelerators across Latin America and Europe, has announced their call for startup applications to join the 2015 programs in Barcelona, Madrid, Bogotá, Buenos Aires and Santiago (Chile).  Interested startups have until February 15th to answer the call and can visit Wayra’s Open Future platform here:

Barcelona startup PopPlaces has launched a crowdfunding campaign on The Crowd Angel

The Conector-accelerated PopPlaces is the latest Barcelona startup to try their hand in the crowdfunding game. The proud proponent of the Social Economy, or Collaborative Consumption movement, is practicing what they preach as they look to the crowd for support to finance their next stage of growth. The Crowd Angel, one of the leaders in Spain’s equity crowdfunding space, is hosting the campaign and tickets start at €3.000. Barcelona startup accelerator Conector has announced plans for expansion to Madrid

The Barcelona startup accelerator Conector has announced the launch of a new Madrid-based program focused on the gaming vertical. The Carlos Blanco-led team has partnered with Grupo R. Franco, one of largest traditional arcade and casino game producers in Spain. Interested startups have until February 23rd to apply to Conector’s newest program and can find more information here:
