ForceManager’s web team is looking for an experienced and passionate front-end/native JavaScript engineer to join our development team in Barcelona. This candidate will help us architect, build, iterate and manage a meaningful and powerful experience for the thousands of people wanting to use our web app every day.
You will be part of a fast-paced team driving ongoing product iteration and working in the highly competitive space of consumer facing. The ideal candidate should be comfortable in a fluid start-up environment. He/she must bring an energetic, FUN and creative approach to their work as well as being a person that values simplicity, elegance, and a great UX.
Skills and Expertise
- 5 – 6 years of proven, hands-on success in the front-end of large-scale web applications.
- More than 5 years of experience in native JavaScript.
- You are used to being a part of an agile development team.
- Solid understanding of the intricacies of native JavaScript, Bootstrap, JQuery, Angular JS, CSS and HTML5 — C# is a plus.
- Working understanding of web applications, MVC concepts and design patterns.
- Provide reusable, well-performing and cross-browser compatible code — working with TDD and Jenkins is a plus.
- Experience in mobile platforms is also highly valued.
- Can write good documentation.
- Experience using control version software like GIT.
- Passionate about web development and new technologies.
- Experience in integrating mobile solutions with web API’s.
- Has an excellent debugging skill.
