Job description:

You would join a team of 6 awesome super experienced developers. Working hours are flexible, we want working software not hours in the office. We are a start up and believe in investing in our start up culture by inviting world class talent to give weekly talks about a range of topics including technology, programming, frameworks, growth hacking, product management etc. On Fridays we like to have lunch out together, a habit we established when it was only 4 of us and that we keep on perpetuating now that we are 80+. We try to keep nourishing our startup soul by organising ping-pong tournaments, table games, ski trips, beach volleyball and many more activities.
Responsibilities:
We create in-house the friendly tools to empower our users, with very little effort, to design their own products. Right after that, we do colour and picture management and automatic creation of production sheets for each printing machine in our factory, located 50m away from our offices.

We manage our whole infrastructure and technology stack, from the ruby code to the server’s configurations. We usually develop tools to automate tasks and make our developer life easier.

We work in a continuous development flow, work you may do in the morning will be probably in production by the afternoon, tests run automatically on a CI.

We also contribute to existing open source projects by fixing or improving whatever we encounter on the way, as well as releasing internal tools or parts of the application as open source projects.

Experience & Qualifications:
Dilated experience in programming and web development in particular, either at work or from personal experience.
Experience working with Ruby, and with Ruby on Rails framework.

Knowledge of:
– Ruby – Git
– Rails – Modern Web stack (http, tcp, dns, websockets, …)
– Javascript (not jQuery)
Highly preferred experience/knowledge:
– Angular js framework
– Aystems administration
– Frontend technologies knowledge in general
