Collaborative Economy Startup Drivy Launches in Spain During European Mobility Week

In the spirit of the European Mobility Week, Barcelona welcomes the launch of Drivy – one of the fastest collaborative economy startups in Europe. Drivy is Europe’s #1 peer-to-peer car rental platform. In other words, Drivy is essentially a multinational community of neighbors sharing their cars with each other, with lower prices and a more human experience than a traditional car rental agency can provide.

How does Drivy work?

On average, car owners only use their car about 5% of the time. While their car is not in use, they can make it available for rent on Drivy.es. Then, the next time you want to rent a car, simply search your city by neighborhood, select the car you want to borrow and go meet the owner to pick up the keys. You’ll get a great car, nearby at a lower cost than waiting for an agency, and very important, you’re totally covered by a special insurance that Allianz designed for this kind of rentals while you have the car.

The Launch Event!

To celebrate the launch of Drivy Spain and Mobility Week Europe, the Drivy team is throwing a party for all collaborative economy enthusiasts in Barcelona to come out and meet some of the key members and startups leading the collaborative consumption charge in Spain.

The event will be held on Thursday, September 17th at Talent Garden Barcelona at 19:00. The main idea is to share an evening of thought-provoking ideas and strategies for the growth of sharing economy in Spain with the people who are ready, willing and able to make it happen!
