The Barcelona startup scene is something truly special – if you’ve been reading Barcinno that probably won’t come as a surprise. That’s why we’re happy to announce that The Next Web World Tour is hosting an event in our beautiful city in just a couple of weeks!
You probably already know TNW from their international tech news website or one of their conferences in Amsterdam and New York. They love bringing people together and designing serendipity, so together with Barcelona Activa, Itnig and Barcinno, they’re taking all that and a bag of chips to Barcelona with TNW World Tour.
On October 16th, they’re hosting Off The Record, a night dedicated to learning from seasoned entrepreneurs. The co-founder of TNW, Patrick de Laive, is also inviting two of the brightest entrepreneurial minds in Barcelona for an intimate fireside chat.
Pere Valles, CEO of Scytl
For the last 15 years, Scytl has been transforming the global elections industry. With 21 offices all around the world and big plans to keep innovating democracy, there is a lot to expect from this Barcelona-founded company.
Agus Gomez, co-founder and CEO of Wallapop
Starting in Barcelona, Wallapop has grown to be an international company with a local approach – disrupting classifieds as you know them. Making it easy to buy and sell things in your area turned out to be a global hit, which drove a quick expansion to other countries.
Pere and Agus will be joining us to share their experiences of founding a startup in Barcelona, and growing it to an international enterprise.

Applying for an invite is free, and drinks are on us. But be quick – we only have a limited number of spots left on our guest list.
