The Barcelona-based crowd-funding platform Crowdcube has helped the restaurant Burrets Barcelona close a round of €182,000. This was the second round of funding for the company that wants to launch a tex-mex restaurant-chain with healthy and ecological food. In their first round in August they raised € 77,100.
Through crowd-funding, a total of 50 private investors, with an average investment of €3.600, helped Burrets Barcelona reach their goal. They plan to open their first restaurant in Barcelona in March 2016. The highest individual investment was at €44.000.
The tex-mex startup explains that they have had two successful product testings so far, and have a goal of opening several restaurants in Barcelona in the coming years.
Vudoir closes their first round of funding
This has also been a good week for the startup Vudoir, that closed €90.000 in their first investment round after finishing the Conector accelerator, according to Loogic.
Barcelona-based Vudoir is a social fashion app, helping people from all around the world to decide in which of two specific outfits they look better in.
