Get yer popcorn ready for The Next Web Barcelona Summer 2013 Extravaganza next Thursday at the amazing Antiga Fàbrica Estrella Damm venue near the Sagrada Família. Somehow, some way, they keep coming up with funky new speakers like every single day. Seriously though, anyone interested in catching the pulse of the Barcelona startup scene should not miss this event. Did I mention that the free, ice cold Estrella Damm will be flowing like Flo Rida on a Friday night at Sutton? Because it will be.
Kicking off at 7:00pm next Thursday, July 11th, the lineup of speakers and pitches promises not to disappoint. You’ll hear from Barcelona’s hottest startups, up-and-coming entrepreneurs, international super VCs, and some bad-ass thought leaders pushing the limits of technology and innovation.
Need the full breakdown? It goes a little something like this:
6PM – Registration
7PM – TNW and Barcelona.IO wish you a warm welcome
7:05PM – Aldo de Jong (founding partner of Claro Partners) will quickly share some very interesting findings based on an ethnographic study of the Barcelona startup ecosystem.
7:10PM – Robin Wauters, European Editor of The Next Web: “How to get the press to cover your startup”.
7:20PM – Martin Mignot from international VC firm Index Ventures will talk about early-stage investing in Europe and the ‘Series A crunch’.
