Fest-UP: Barcelona’s Tech & Startup Festival Is Back On Nov 19th & 20th

The Barcelona Startup Community Festival is back on November 19th & 20th!  Historically, Fest-UP has existed to unite the Barcelona tech and startup ecosystem as a platform to share our projects and celebrate our growth as Barcelona catapults into one of the world’s leading centers for innovation. The 3rd edition of Fest-UP is a two-day event that has partnered with LeWeb and HandsOn.TV to showcase our early and expansion stage startups and play matchmaker between Barcelona’s fastest-growing companies and the most talented individuals in the city!

Usually, it’s age before beauty, but at Fest-UP the early stage startups go first. On Thursday, November 19th, 8 Barcelona startups will compete for a chance to spend a week in Silicon Valley to experience the culture and connect with entrepreneurs and investors in the US. Then, the big players arrive on Friday, November 20th at Valkiria Hub for the Fest-UP Startup Expo & Job Fair. Here’s everything you need to know for Fest-UP 2015!

November 19th: Pitch Competition – Win A Trip To Silicon Valley!

In partnership with LeWeb and HandsOn.TV, the Fest-UP Startup Competition will take place during the the first day of Fest-UP 2015 on Thursday, November 19th. Eight Barcelona startups will compete for two tickets to the European finals in Paris to win a Trip to Silicon Valley. We invite entrepreneurs, investors and the press to discover young and innovative startups, network and have inspiring conversations.

Two of our local startups will join 16 finalist startups from other European cities: Berlin, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Paris, Stockholm, Lisbon/Cascais & London for the finals on Nov 26th, and the opportunity to compete for a week of immersion in the Silicon Valley startup ecosystem. (note: competing startups must be <3 years old and have <€2M in funding)
