Investor Heads Up: SeedRocket Hosts Their 6th Investors Day On March 19th

The semi-annual Investors Day alternates between Madrid and Barcelona and next Tuesday, the Barcelona Activa workspace will host the next installment of the SeedRocket Investor’s Day Summit. Participating in this year’s event are the following 5 innovative Barcelona startups:

• Blueknow builds a recommendation tool to help e-commerce shoppers find what they are looking for faster and optimize conversion rates.
• Kantox is possibly the most disruptive business model coming out of Barcelona. They aim to reinvent the currency trading industry by eliminating banks and let the companies work out transactions together.  They have already completed more than €25 million in peer-to-peer transactions.
• Deporvillage is the one-stop e-commerce platform for sporting goods operating in Spain, France, and the soon-to-launch Italian marketplace. They lay claim to 300% year over year growth with revenues exceeding €1.7 billion on more than 7.000 products.

• Quieru is the first e-commerce portal to deal exclusively on the supply-side of beauty, health, and wellness products.  Suppliers can pick and and purge excess inventory at market-established rates to avoid seasonal losses.
• Foxize School is the one of the most promising Barcelona startups to offer a new alternative to the traditional business education model.  Already advancing the minds or more than 100 students, Foxize offers customized training at affordable prices.
