As Walt Disney once said, “If you can dream, you can do it”. Many entrepreneurs live by these wise words, which inspire and motivate us during troublesome times. Remember, the man created an empire based on a mouse, so listen up!
Barcelona startup Trip4real, which just celebrated its 1st birthday, is eating that motto for breakfast and going back for seconds. In just one year, they have managed to change the way that people travel and experience Spain offering more than 2.000 unique activities in Spanish cities. Not surprisingly, Trip4real has attracted renowned figureheads such as Ferran Adrià and Toni Segarra as early investors.
Thanks to their hard work, effort and dedication, Trip4real has been offered the chance of a lifetime: to meet Airbnb‘s founders at their HQs in the Wild Wild West; San Francisco to be specific. Visiting Silicon Valley and the Bay Area has been a long time dream for the Trip4real team so ya see, Walt Disney was right!
Taking the proverbial “bull by the horns”, Trip4Real will be leaving in a jet plane on the 28th of March for an action packed two weeks in the epicenter of tech startups. The team will be experiencing first hand the day-to-day startup culture of Silicon Valley and, of course in true Spanish fashion, making lots and lots of noise.
During these intense two weeks, their team will be undertaking a marathon of meetings with some of the Valley’s biggest players such as Airbnb, Whatsapp, Dropbox as well as other industry experts and investors.
After submerging themselves in the many depths of startup wisdom, the team plans to come back with their knowledge caps on and ready to apply some of the Silicon Valley magic and energy to the Spanish startup scene here in Barcelona.
Barcinno will be following and sharing this exciting journey, so stay tuned for daily updates, pictures and news. You will also be able to follow the trials and tribulations of their trip on the Trip4Real Twitter (#sf4real), Instagram, Facebook and Youtube accounts.
On a final note, if you would like to get personally involved in Trip4real’s San Francisco adventure you can do so here.
