Spain Startup & Investor Summit: The Future Belongs To Entrepreneurs

Spain Startup & Investor Summit is a platform that raises awareness about innovative entrepreneurial initiatives in Spain. To accomplish their goals, they have created a network for knowledge sharing and a climate of optimism around Spanish technology and innovation development. But even more than a platform, they position themselves as a mind-set. In times of crisis, opportunities for innovation and entrepreneurship can make a change and turn the economic curve upwards. In 2012, the Spain Startup & Investor Summit gathered 1.200 entrepreneurs, 185 investors, and 30 start ups hellbent on turning the recession into an opportunity. The movement is supported by a long list of high-level representatives in state, industry and academia. In 2013 they want to take to a whole new level.

And you can be part of it. Currently they are looking for 25 entrepreneurial projects and the 25 startups. In addition to their pitch competition and entrepreneurial celebration in June, the Spain Startup & Investor Summit, including the first ever Startup Village, and will be taking place this October.
