Barcelona will host the first edition of the Ouishare Fest Barcelona 2015 next 19th-21st November in Barcelona at the Parc Tecnològic de Barcelona Activa in Nou Barris. After three successful editions in Paris, this is the first professional event in Spanish to explore the opportunities and challenges of the collaborative economy in depth.
Designed as a space of analysis based on an inclusive conversation with different points of view, it is addressed to private and public organizations, entrepreneurs, start-ups, press and general audiences interested in the collaborative transformation of the economy.
Ouishare Fest Barcelona is a two-day conference event format with lectures, discussion panels, interviews, workshops and a lot of networking. The program is focused on the exploration of the present and future of a new economic production model based on an empowered citizen creator of value in resources and services by sharing them through digital platforms. The innovation of this model and the social impact on the common good will be at the center of the conversation. The program is structured in 7 areas of exploration: Society, the New Productive Model, Organizations, Education, Finance, Health and Tourism.
The event will count with the participation of more than 40 experts in the sector: Genís Roca, expert in Digital Transformation at Roca&Salvatella; Rosa Guirado, lawyer and economist; Antonin Leonard, co-founder of OuiShare; Susana Martín Belmonte, economist and activist in favor of a new social currency system; Esther Paniagua, journalist specialized in technology and sharing economy and Javier Creus, expert in strategy design of open and collaborative business models at Ideas for Change as well as author of Pentagrowth.
The Ouishare Fest Barcelona 2015 will be followed by several satellite events during the same week to engage with different target audiences that want to find out more about the collaborative transformation.
The OuiShare Rethink <> Remix Business Experience takes place on 18th November at Cibernarium Barcelona Activa with an exclusive executive training in partnership with Foxize School to companies that want to implement a collaborative strategy on their business. The event will have international experts as the co-founder of BlaBlaCar España Vincent Rosso and two well known leaders of the collaborative movement: Lisa Gansky, author of the bestseller The Mesh: Why The future of Business is Sharing, and Nick Grossman, investor and general director of the capital venture Union Square Ventures dedicated to digital platforms with social impact as well to the evolution of new public policies.
That same Wednesday 18th, the Global Hub for the Common Good arrives to Barcelona with the event Think Ocean Series, in its path between Santiago de Chile and London, to offer an inspirational citizen co creation session of public policies in favor of the common good. This workshop will host a discussion panel of experts in new economic models lead by Diego Isabel La Moneda.
Last but not least, the collaborative fair Share& Fest on Saturday 21st at Seu del Districte de Nou Barris. A free event open to local communities of the neighbourhood and to everyone. It will host a start-up fair focused on the sharing economy, the FleaMarket BCN as well as lots of festive activities to enjoy the sharing and the co-creation.
The Ouishare Fest Barcelona and all these satellite events have the public support of Barcelona Activa, the Área de Economía, Empresa and Ocupación del Ayuntamiento de Barcelona, ACCIÓ (the Agence of Catalonia Trade and Investment) and Diputació de Barcelona as well as the private organisations leaders in this sector líder such as SocialCar, Airbnb Wallapop.
Behind this fest there is Ouishare a global “think-and-do-tank” community with a mission to de create and promote a collaborative society.
