Glovo, the delivery app that promises to deliver anything (legal) you want in under an hour at, has acquired the personal assistant startup Justbell, writes Loogic.
Justbell is one of many new startups focusing on personal assistant-services through apps or Whatsapp, and is founded by Miguel Vicente, Zaryn Dentzel, Gerard Olivé, all well-recognizable names in the Spanish startup ecosystem.
According to Crunchbase, Justbell was aquired on the 1st of October, for an undisclosed amount. Having luanched in April 2015, Justbell is a fairly new company and with the recent surge in last-mile logistics startups, this could be the beginning of the consolidation of this sector in Spain. The details of the acquisitino are still unclear including how much Justbell will develop into a part of Glovo.
This is one of several interesting moves for Glovo, that recently picked up €2 million in funding a while after finishing the Conector accelerator.
