Cyber Security Innovation: an urgent call for cyber heroes
Cyber security is on the tip of everyones tongue. It seems like every day we see new and more advanced cyber attacks on companies, organisations (public and private) and also people just like you and me.
Most of you are probably more familiar with the more popular style of attacks such as data theft from prominent companies and DDoS attacks but this is only the tip of the iceberg. Recent cyber attacks include that of hacked cars, hacked power stations, hacked air traffic control centres, railways stations, you name it. As you can imagine this is serious stuff that puts our lives and existence at risk.
It’s clear that the security procedures utilised by companies today (big and small) is completely failing and with the huge growth of IoT products (from smart fridges to barbie dolls) of which many are buggy from the factory (not always intended), criminals are not only compromising our data but also that of our family.
Because of this lack of attention to security needs, we are paying the price and living in what we can call a ‘privacy crisis’. We must rethink and rework the security model. We need innovative and surefire solutions to solve everyone’s security problems. We need to make sure technological products and services are safe before going to market so every one can use them without the fear of being compromised or spied upon.
We are also facing a huge challenge these days in regards to how to prevent terrorist attacks using technology but without compromising everyone else’s privacy.
There is a great business and career opportunity in the cybersecurity arena and talented people have the historical opportunity to save the world being cyber heroes. Come and join us!

Exactly, cyber security threat is having more and more victims everyday. In fact, even the pentagon has been compromised despite of all the security features they have.
