Our name brings together Barcelona’s history as a Roman military outpost called ‘Barcino’, its present as the largest city on the Mediterranean, and its future as a world-leading innovation hub connecting the brightest minds around the world. We aim to highlight and unite the local creators, designers, and innovators who are changing the landscape of this city.

Scott Mackin
Scott is the Chief Commercial Officer of OneCoWork and founder of Bourbon Creative, a content marketing agency for startups. In 2013, Scott started Barcinno to share the stories of Barcelona’s startup ecosystem and to build a platform for companies seeking international exposure. Stewart Masters
Stewart is Co-founder & Contributing Editor at Barcinno where he attempts to share his startup musings and experience as an entrepreneur. He is also the Co-founder at ClubKviar – your private concierge for high-end dining, a startup mentor and Associate Professor at Toulouse Business School. Clemens Rychlik
Clemens Rychlik is an Austrian citizen of Polish origin living in Spain. After growing up in Vienna and living in Sheffield, Dublin, Brussels and Madrid, he settled in Barcelona to enjoy great weather, food and the beach. As a CEMS Master in International Management graduate from UCD Dublin he works as Content Marketing Manager at Bourbon Creative and Barcinno and helps startups to grow internationally. Sophie Grant
Sophie is a world famous vocalist, pianist and the lead singer of Lunafruit, which took home the Grammy for best new album in 2019 (tbd). Her alter ego hangs out in Barcelona crafting downright cosmic content for the most innovative and fastest-growing brands in the world with Bourbon Creative. She received her bachelors degree in English Literature from Cambridge University and spent a year traveling throughout Central and South America before landing in Barcelona.
Willow Novell
Willow is a native of Barcelona but raised around the world…LL.M in International Law by the Chicago-Kent College of Law, and ESADE B-school alumni, he has been a transactional and corporate lawyer for several companies and law firms in Spain, specializing in counseling startups. He sees the world as a huge opportunity to be grabbed by the horns, and Barcelona is a wild bull waiting to be tamed.
