Barcelona is yet again striving to make the city smarter and cleaner with the use of technology, this time with the launch of a CleanTech Camp to support ideas, entrepreneurs and startups that work within the field of clean energy and sustainable cities.
So if you have an idea or a startup making the world a greener place, this might be your chance.
The camp is a parnership between KIC InnoEnergy, Barcelona Activa and Caixa Capital Risc, the VC arm of CaixaBank controlling €180 million divided over 8 different investment funds.
In total, 10 different projects will be chosen for the camp, and the last day to apply is the 18th of May.
Mentoring, money and investors
The three projects with the greatest potential for growth among the 10 participants will receive a financial contribution and support for further acceleration and business growth.
The startup considered with highest growth-potential will receive €15.000, the 2nd will get £10.000 and the 3rd will be awarded €5.000.
The entrepreneurs will also get to meet key people and investors from the Spanish startup eco-system, as well as being part of workshops and training sessions.
All projects will get office spaces in the Barcelona Activa incubator at Glories.
