Job description:
The iOS engineer will be responsible for the development of our iPhone and iPad APP. We need engineers that are comfortable tackling technical challenges and the ability to understand the big picture.

– UI-magician who knows the “Apple way” of doing things
– 2+ years of experience developing UI-heavy iOS applications
– Attention to details and obsession with quality
What You’ll Be Doing
– Develop UI for iOS version of GlovoApp
– Optimize for performance and memory consumption
– Study and adopt new technologies introduced by Apple
– Contribute to other parts of the project

Company Description
Glovo is a mobile application operating in Barcelona since March 2015 that allows customers to outsource their daily errands to one of our delivery people in order to make life less cumbersome. Users can send or obtain any product in less than 60 minutes.

The app connects users with independent couriers called glovers that acquire products from any restaurant, laundry or store in the city and also deliver urgent packages. In other words, Glovo is the new personal assistant available to everyone!
Once the order is made, the user can interact with the glover assigned and follow his GPS position in real time.

Glovo is an amazing opportunity. We just closed one of the biggest rounds of investment for <1 year startups, and will be opening in other European capitals very soon.

We developed a payment system that is easy and convenient – the client simply enters his credit card details when registering for the app and only gets charged once the product arrives at his doorsteps.
