Datumize, the Barcelona startup that helps company analyze and process 99 percent of their dark operating data, recently closed a round of €1 million.
The round was led by Inveready, and was participated by Caixa Capital Risc and other private investors.
It’s around a year since Datumize went through the Startupbootcamp IoT and Data program in Barcelona, and they’ve come a long way since then, gaining significant traction in the Big data sector.
Dark data
The dark data Datumize is hunting exist in companies, but are very hidden in internal communication networks or complex industrial devices.
Datumize, which was founded in 2014, is focused on providing solutions in specific industries such as Big data, internet of things (IoT), energy, commerce, entertainment, automotive and trade, by transforming data into dark profitable business results. They’ve already landed some customers such as Natural Gas Fenosa, Globalia, Piñero and Quadis.
This round will according to the startup not only help them improve their technology but also grow furthermore over the next 12-18 months.
Kampoos got funded
Barcelona startup Kampoos crowdfunded its way to €90.400 through the Mynbest platform. 15 different private investors was involved in the funding-round.
Kampoos is an online sports marketplace that helps children and adolescents find suitable sport activities. If you run some kind of sport activity, you can create your own company page, upload your activities, register attendants and get paid through the platform. Kampoos takes a comission for every sale you makes through their marketplace.
The startup has big customers such as FC Barcelona, Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid, Nike Camp and many more.
With this round, the marketplace for sport activities aim to expand internationally, with a focus on the english-speaking world.
