Last Chance To Apply For SeedRocket E-Campus IX

SeedRocket’s most important event of the year is less than 4 weeks away and entrepreneurs who want to be considered for the investment strategy crash course only have 3 days left to apply.  The SeedRocket Campus has evolved over the years and has now partnered with Bertelsmann to offer seed round investments of up to €150k to the most promising Spanish startups in the ICT space. 

The 9^th SeedRocket Campus will work as follows:  Startups that have applied before the May 5^th cutoff will be included in the selection of 10 projects to enter a weeklong program of training, workshops, and 1-on-1 sessions with SeedRocket’s accomplished mentors.  On the final day of the campus, the 10 projects will present to a room of private investors, business angels, VCs, mentors, and the SeedRocket team for a chance at €150k seed investment.  In addition, the 3 winning startups of the weeklong campus will have the opportunity to join the 3-month SeedRocket Barcelona accelerator program.

This year, SeedRocket has parted with Bertelsmann as a global partner and participating startups will benefit from their expansive reach and expertise in television, publishing, music, and media industries.  This type of global partnership provides potential synergies and valuable industry contacts otherwise unavailable to startups.

You don’t have to look far to witness SeedRocket’s growing portfolio driven by their successful track record.  The SeedRocket program has proven itself as a dynamic accelerator evolving to accommodate the needs of both the entrepreneurs and investors in its network with events taking place in both Barcelona and Madrid.  Since 2008, SeedRocket angels have had several successful exits, including Offerum, Habitissimo, and Teambox.  Most recently, Marfeel, one of their former accelerated startups, raised a $2 million Series A and Kantox, the peer-to-peer currency exchange startup, may be coming up right behind them.  Additionally, startups participating in SeedRocket’s bi-annual Investors Days in Barcelona and Madrid are posting a 75% success rate in securing funding for their business.
